Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Connecticut

Tenant Rights

My landlord is selling the house I have leased from him. As a contingency of the closing he wants to replace an in-ground oil tank and move it to the basement. This would be happening as I am packing and moving my belongings.

What are my rights do I have to let him do this while I still have my lease?

Re: Tenant Rights

Generally, the landlord has the right to sell the home without your approval or consideration for you. However, this may be changed by an agreement. I would need to take a look at the lease in order to determine if you have any rights.
