Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut
Can a Husband or Wife rent a property , that they both own together in joint tenancy, on their own in Connecticut? (sign on their own listing and lease agreements). In a case where one of the spouses is very ill.

Yes, so long as the ill spouse is coherent and knows what he/she is doing.

The ills spouse should sign a power of attorney giving the other spouse the authority to rent the property. (and handle other affairs) if that ill spouse is competent to sign one. This is the better solution.
