the real estate company istarted looking at homes with in ct is planning to sue me for commission. iverbally terminated my contract with them because the agent became very pushy. two months after that Iipurchased a home they showed me with another agent.

how can iavoid paying that commision, i don't have the funds to do so.

You can't "verbally" terminate a written contract without the agreement of the other party. My guess is that you are stuck. Try to negotiate a settlement with them. There may be something technically wrong with the listing agreement you signed, but I'd have to see it to be sure.
