Refinance - Title liens related to LLC business

Can a creditor put liens on our home title that are related to my husbands busienss when the business is an LLC? the title is in our personal names not the business. We are refinancing and can't close untill these are resolved. What actions can we take to get them removed.

Creditor shouldn't have been able to lien personal assets unless husband personally guaranteed the debt (which most creditors insist upon). If the lien is improper, you'd have to go to court to get it removed. How did he lien it? Attachment? Mechanic's Lien? It's not that easy to lien property these days, and if he did it improperly, you can sue him for slander of title, perhaps.
