Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

Wilcox School expands/seller did not reveal prior

We purchased a house next to Wilcox Tech School, shortly after the empty field behind our house was made into a enormous tennis court-which leaves us without any privacy. When meeting with the school, they said they went through all the ''proper channels'' & notified surrounding neighbors of this change. The seller of this house made no mention of this drastic change as we certainly wouldn't have considered this purchase. Because this tennis court is within a few yards of our property line, we have repeatedly asked Wilcox to put up a privacy fence but this has not happened & seems evident it will not. Do we have enough cause to--name removed--the previous seller for not revealing this information and is there anything we can do to have Wilcox Tech put up a privacy fence? I do have pictures of before/after that shows this drastic change from woods and an open field to now a tennis court. Thank you.

Re: Wilcox School expands/seller did not reveal prior

You need to refer, first,to the contract of sale. There should be a clause that refers to pending matters that affect your property, etc. However, the wording is important,i.e.,does the representation survive the closing?
