Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

My mother had a treasury bond in both our names, hers and mine. She is now in a nursing home and her conservator has taken over this money for her expenses, although my name is still on account. Shouldn't I have been able to have some of this money, and if so, is their any recpurse

Yes, I believe you should have your share. You should request your share from the conservator and if she/he will not give you your share you should seek relief from the probate court.
