Legal Question in Workers Comp in Connecticut

Workers Comp/Auto Injury

I am on Workers Comp as a result of an on the job injury. The insurance carrier has denied treatment for a documented injury without explanation. The condition has worsened and I am left to seek the treatment on my own. Is this negligence or are they covered under this states Workers Comp regulations? Thank You

Re: Workers Comp/Auto Injury

If the treatment is by the doctor authorized to treat you in your workers compensation case and if the treatment is necessary for you to get better, the insurance company should have to pay for it or provide a very good reason for not doing so. More information would be necessary to see whether you can get the insurance company to pay for the treatment. Feel free to call me to discuss this further.
