Legal Question in Traffic Law in Delaware

License Suspension

I am moving to Delaware in January. I have a license suspension in PA for quite some time now. Am I eligible to obtain a license in Delaware or any other state in the US? If so can I drive in PA on vacation after obtaining another states license?

Re: License Suspension

You asked if you can obtain a license in another state while your current license is suspended.

Here's a new word for you F-R-A-U-D, fraud.

If you are trying to move up the criminal scale from traffic offender to actual criminal then you are on the right path.

Seriously, PA and DE share comity, as do many other states and you may not obtain a license in a new state while your license is suspended in any state. If in fact you do obtain a license, it is automatically suspended (by operation of law) until you resolve the original suspension.

States may not do many things well but they share information particularly well. Your driving record will follow you.

Regards,

So my advice to you would be either to resolve the suspension in whatever you must or live where there is good public transportation.
