Legal Question in Criminal Law in District of Columbia

Expunging misdemeanor record in DC

Can and if so when can the criminal record be expunged for a charge of unlawful entry after complying with the STET / diversion agreement (after the United states attorney's office enters a nolle prosequi) ?

How would this be done or what forms need to be filled out ?

Thank you.

Re: Expunging misdemeanor record in DC

You will be unlikely to find forms that could be used for the expungement of the record of this matter in the DC Superior Court. Several years should probably be allowed to elapse first and the position of the prosecutor ascertained on the matter before it is brought before the court on a formal motion for adjudication (in my opinion).
