Legal Question in Criminal Law in District of Columbia

I filed a 2255 Motion (Motion to Vacate or Correct Sentence) in Federal court in a criminal case, in February 2010. The Judge in my case still has not ruled on the Motion (8 months). How long does it take to get a ruling on this motion from the Judge?
