Legal Question in Immigration Law in District of Columbia

H1B Question

i have an mba from a us school. i've been out of work for 2.5 years, never out of status. currently i'm on an f2 visa (spouse is on an f1). i found a company interested in employing me and sponsoring me for an h1b. company info:

an 8-year-old internet company (s corporation)

have sponsored a person from india for an h1b, a tech guy

have had negative income for a few years (for tax

purposes), but their cash flow is good

have 2 full-time employees (the person from india and the

owner/president and 2 part-time employees (another tech person and an accounting person

the job will pay $25K part-time, 20 hours, it's $24/hour

job title is business analyst (line with my education)

based on the above information, what are the chances of the h1b petition being approved? where are the weak areas? i'm asking for your opinion because i don't want to pay all these fees and not get the h1b at the end. my financial resources are limited.

i know it's never easy to tell but i'm asking you based on your years of experience dealing with h1b petitions.

i sincerely thank you for your opinion and am looking forward to your replies. thanks a lot for your time and attention!

Re: H1B Question

your chances here are very good with your educational background. an h1-b visa sponsorship requires a minimum of a BA degree or 12 years of actual experience in the job position you are applying or being considered for. further, the sponsoring employer should be the one paying the fees in securing your employment. our law firm specializes in such h1-b placements, and you would be a PRIME candidate for such placement with our nationwide employer database. if you would like further assistance, contact us directly today.
