Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

Disability Claim

Can a person who was fired from his job collect disabilty? The person I'm referring to is a male, 45 years old. He had open heart surgery a few years back to fix a hole in his heart. His cardiologist says he's fine but he's claiming he has another problem associated with his heart. He's also claiming depression and is seeing a phycartrist. He has also told me that he doesn't want to work anymore but to be continously on vacation (with the help of a disability check).

Re: Disability Claim

If he is disabled, the fact that he was fired is irrelevant to his entitlement to disability.
