Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

I had a small savings account that I kept not more than 500$ and recently closed. I did not tell me wife about that account because she has no idea how to save money. I closed the account to catch up on some bills due to her taking a pay cut. I am considering bankruptcy and dont want to tell her about the old closed savings account. Will I need to tell her about that old account if we do file bankruptcy?

Yes, she would have to be made aware of it because it will be listed in a document that she must sign. That should be the least of your fears. You will need an attorney to give you advice and prepare all of the documents for filing with the bankruptcy court, as well as attend a meeting of creditors or court hearings.
