Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

We contracted with a restaurant to do work for them. We hired a consultant to do a portion of the work. We are being sued for errors caused from the consultant. Is there a way that we can involve the consultant in the suit that is pending as they are the ones at fault or would we have to sue them?

A corporation is generally not permitted to represent itself in court without an attorney. Speak with your attorney about whether you can file a cross-claim against the consultant. The attorney will likely need to review your agreement with the consultant. Regards,

The other attorney is right on point here. You may be able to file a cross-complaint against the consultant, bringing him or her into the lawsuit. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
