rules of order
If a motion was passed two years ago I have been told it could be rescinded by a majority vote.
I had always thought that the rules of order stated that you needed a two thirds vote to rescing a motion

It depends on the by laws or rules governing your group, club, association etcetera actually say. A majority would not surprise me and is pretty routine.
