Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

small claims

what are some examples of types of claims that a person might want to take to a small claims court? The amount in controversy must not exceed a certain dollar amount for claims filed with the small claims court. This threshold amount varies from state to state. What is this amount under California law?

Almost any issue that meets the economic limits can be taken to small claims which is actually called the Summary Procedure Court. I cannot tell you what the limit is in California.
