what are the normal fees when starting a small business? who do I see first to discuss my 1st moves?

Not knowing what type of business you are starting, it is impossible to even guess fees or costs. However, in order to be successful, you should develop a team, including an attorney to give you legal advice and help you structure your business, and an accountant or enrolled agent to help you structure and plan for taxes and tax related matters.
