Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I was working for a valet business in florida. I got into a small paint scrape with one of the cars. My boss asked me to pay for half right after the accident when I was shaken up and not really thinking straight, since it was my first accident. We never shook or signed anything so do I still have to pay. He kept my check for over 200 dollars without asking me and now is calling for what I assume is to collect the rest. Could he take me to court if I don't pay, and do I or should I pay at all. Thanks
