Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

gender discrimination

I work for a large company that has a local Manager over 2 departments. The department I work in that he is over consists of 4 managers. Our boss almost always gets 1 person from the Management team involved in all decisions and discussions excluding the other 3 members from participating. The other 3 members happen to be women and the 1 manager he does talk with is is a man.

Do we have any legal recourse for this issue?

Re: gender discrimination

It probably does not rise to the level of illegal discrimination. But you should raise the issue either with the manager himself, or perhaps with his boss or with HR. Do it tactfully without accusation. Just point out that all the women seem to be left out of certain decisions and the company is losing out on their valuable point of view. Also, it has a bad effect on morale.

Good luck.
