Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

What can I do to help my Mom regain her Florida drivers license? My sister, who lives out of state, contacted my Moms doctor and asked if she could help revoke Moms drivers license. The doctor said that it was done all the time and she sent a letter to the DMV in Tallahassee. Our Mom, who is 85, has an excellent driving record and better eyesight than myself but my sister thinks she is too old to be driving. Mom got a letter from the state warning that there was a complaint about her driving and that she needed to surrender her license or it would be taken away from her without any chance of recovery. It also stated that if she can get a doctors note, that she could be reconsidered. Mom surrendered her license voluntarily but the doctor refuses to do anything further. Mom is even willing to study for and retake the driving test. Please help.

I would suggest possibly getting a second opinion from another physician. Your mother may have to retest (on paper and a driving test).
