Legal Question in Technology Law in Florida

my bussines email use after laid off

My company laid me off and still is

reading all my emails addressed to

an email in the form of

myname@company

(without showing them to me or

without advising the sender)

Is this legal? What is the correct way

to handle this?

most companies have a written policy that, in essence, says that anything on your computer at work and any e-mail sent to you on their server (i.e. yourname@company) is their property and they have the right to look at it.
