Legal Question in Technology Law in Florida

Product

I bought an Apple Iphone. It worked fine except nobody could hear me. I took it to the Apple store where it was purchased. They said it indicated that water had gotten into the phone. It has never been near water. They would not honor the warranty. I had no choice except to purchase another Iphone as I am a property insurance adjuster and need my phone to work. Do I have a claim against Apple?

Re: Product

"It worked fine except nobody could hear me." So, in other words, it was completely useless! (Well, I guess it was a great iTouch, but a lousy iPhone.)

I don't know if it's true of iPhones since they don't open, but other cellphones have a small sticker in them that changes to pink when water gets inside. That's probably why they say water got in. You'd have a claim against them if you could prove what you say is true and what they say is false.
