In FL can a car purchase be cancelled within 72 hours without penalty

Nope. There is no right of cancellation or any 72 hour rule with a car sales -- unless they came to your home to sell yo the car.

No.... not unless the dealer has put that into the contract or will voluntarily agree to it which most will not. The car loses value the moment someone drives it off the lot. It is no longer a new car and thus cannot be returned.
