Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

I took my car to be repaired for an oil leak i picked it up that afternoon as i drove but not a mile away ,

my ccar lights lit up like a christmas tree and started to stall and i barley made it back to the shop.

they gave me a loaner and said it was over heating and they would fix it .so i agreed next day i picked up my car and noticed that my car stereo wouldn't shut off .they told me to bring it in on monday that gave me all weekend with the car i dint use it because i was afraid of the battery dying .

monday came and dropped off my car .i later get a call saying i needed a new belt and an alternator .

Funny my car was running well only thing wrong was the oil leak when i brought it in .they wanted to charge me 447.00 then my husband got upset and said why is that ? they got someone else saying we didnt need a belt now there is a big confusment and lack of trust .they said they would fix it again now we go to pick it up once again and the radio still on with temp readings and engine light was on

lit up again like a christmas tree went in side to speak to the owner but he wouldn't speak to me meanwhile my wife seen him drive twice around the buuilding to avoid me i'm giving them one more chance but they said they will have a look at it and if its not their fault we would have to pay .granted i already paid 650.00 to repair my oil leak i threaten them with getting a lwayer and having the news at the shop if they do not fix my car .but honestly i'm nervous about my car being damaged by their neglect.please advise me what to do.I will be picking my car up tommorrow .

thank you for your time

Did you get an estimate of the car repairs before they attempted to fix the vehicle? If not, this is statutory violation. It provides for attorney's fees and costs. You need to see a consumer lawyer in your area to deal with the whole matter. Want to know the law?
