Your contract spells out your responsibility to the school. You need to take your contract, your bank receipts, and all correspondence between you and the school to an attorney. A general practice attorney can apply the law to the facts of your case once the contract language and facts surrounding the agreement are analyzed.

Like Attorney Schellenberg said, the relationship is governed by the contract. Gather up your contract and whatever other related documents you have (including payment records, emails, letters, and even advertisements that first enticed you to enroll in the school, if applicable), and take them to an attorney who can examine the paperwork while hearing your story.
