Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Purchase of motorhome

If you purchased a RV an would like to return in within 24 hrs of buying it and the private owner will not answer your calls to bring it back. Do you show up with it in there driveway? How do I go about returning it and getting my money back.

Re: Purchase of motorhome

You can do as you wish, but short of seller's compassion or actual fraud, you have no right to a refund.

You can return it by bringing it back to the Seller's home. There is no guarantee or right to get your money back, however. Once you buy a motor vehicle, it is yours. If you had doubts about the condition, you should have made arrangements to have it road tested and looked at by a mechanic prior to your purchase. If you can prove that you were defrauded, however, you might have some action against the Seller. If so, you should consult a local attorney to discuss your legal rights and possible remedies.
