Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I recently moved out of an apartment and broke the lease. I am responsible until the time they are able to rent it. Well, I was told on Tuesday that they have a contract on the apartment but the contract does not go into effect until May 1, 2011. Question: Since they have a contract on the apartment, is my responsibility ending as of the contract signing date or until the promised move in date? Thank you so much, Lisa
