Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Satisfaction Guaranteed

I bought a spa 4 months ago, brand new, $2500. When they delivered and set up, wires were sliced, 3 weeks later bulb blew, one month later bulb blew, now motor broke. under warrantee to fix but I believe too many problems for such a short time and after the warrentee of one year I will be responsible for fixing? company wants me to give them a credit card number for them to ''hold'' to reassure then when they come out to fix my spa they will get back the broken parts?? I am asking for a new spa because I feel that there are too many problems with this one for such a short period of time and I might have a ''bad'' spa on my hands... What does Satisfaction guaranteed really mean and how far can I push this if this is their motto?

Re: Satisfaction Guaranteed

If the company is willing to come out and fix the unit, then it makes sense that the repair person would take the broken parts. Therefore there is no need to provide credit card information. This aspect makes me doubt the sincerity of the spa sales company.
