Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Civil Judgement

around 9 years ago I was force to turn in my car to the bank because I was not able to keep paying for it.

the bank sold the car for less of the balance owed on the car and sued me for the difference. A default judgement was issued against me on 2002. I recently try contacting the legal frim that defended the Bank and they are no longer in business. Can't find them anywhere. I went direcctly to the Bank and they have no records of my old loan. They gave me two numbers one for their revenue recovery department and the other for a collection company and neither of them have any records of my loan.

I need to get rid of that judgment and don't know what to do please advice.

the judgement was for $7500

thanks

Either retain an attorney or see the clerk of the court.

Re: Civil Judgement

Your attorney will either have to deal with the bank or have the judgment satisfied of record with the court.
