corporate collections

If you have a note owed to your corp. does your corp. have to be in effect ,after the note was made, in order to collect the money?Do I need to reinstate to collect this debt?This debt was incurred before the corp. was dissolved.

If you intend on filing a law suit, the Plaintiff would be your corporation -- in order to proceed it must be an entity in good standing. A dissolved corporation will not be acceptable for the court.
