Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My daughters husband to be was the first signer on an auto loan with a friend. The friend is the driver of the car a 2010 Mazda, and listed as the second signer. The young man wants to have the girl removed from the loan and he just remain the owner. The registration is in both of thier names and he is the insurance carrier. How can he obtain this car on his own. The girl would not be able to finance on her own or this situation would not be in question?

I am a little confused by your question. But I think that you want your daughter's boy friend to have the car and loan in his name. I would think the second signor would be happy about that if she does not drive the car. Just take her and him to the finance co to refinance the loan. If he qualifies, should be no problem if she is willing to sign. Want to know the law?
