Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My Dr was not in so I went to the ER because my blood pressure was sky high. My insurance wouldn't pay and the hospital and dr both sent me a bill. The hospital for almost 1600 and the dr for about 600. This for a blood test, ekg and telling me to go see my dr and take my blood pressure every day. The hopital wouldn't take my payments so sent me to collections the same with the dr after I paid him for a few months. I am on a small SS widows pension. The hospital collection company takes 5 per month and I was sending the dr collections 10 per month, not they are sending me letters asking for the whole amount which is now 361, also calling my phone with a recording.

Why did the insurance company fail to pay? You need to call them to see why they failed to cover the emergency. See a lawyer if they fail to pay. See my website under forms for a cease and desist letter to the doctor and hospital. Want to know the law? YOur insurance should have paid. Who ever filed the forms probably put the wrong code on the papers. Follow Mr. Marino's advice.
