Judgment Summary Hearing

I am being sued (car repossession) and have received a summons to appear in court for a Judment Summary. Do I have to appear? What happens if I don't go?

You should appear. If you do not, the court will enter a default judgment against you and you will never have any opportunity to refute the claim or make sure that they only get a judgment for the proper amount owed.
