Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I'm planning on buying a car from a private seller. The seller has a warranty on the car that's only good if her name stays on title, once her name comes off title the warranty is voided. So the only way for me to keep the car warranty is to add my name on title with her. If pay off the loan in full and add my name on title with her, what risk am i putting myself at in case someone ever tries to sue the her or the IRS comes after her to seize her assets? Will anyone be able to take the car away and/or put a lien on it because her name is on it?

Yes. I advise you not to do it. You can purchase a new warranty.
