I have a student loan with sallie mae..It is for collection with USAFunds and GRC..They have sent my boss a letter stating to garnish my wages. Can they garnish my wages?

Yes, they can garnish your wages if they have already sued you and obtained a judgment against you. There may be some exceptions to the general rule, and you should obtain personal advice from an attorney to know if you can fight the garnishment.

Check the court records and see if there is a judgment filed against you. If so, yes they can. If not, you have a case. See an attorney.
