Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Title company issues

I recently closed on my refinance, the mortgage company I believe sold my account to a title company, the title company wrote several checks to pay off the loans according to the contract, since then several of the checks were bad, the title company filed bankruptcy right in the middle of my checks clearing, severla cleared but two did not, I have turned the information to the trustee that I finally located, what recourse do I have? the trustee is telling me they are waiting for the accountants to finish the books so they can try to pay some of the checks. What do I do?
