Voluntary Repossesion

Is there any documentation or actions of any type that I should insist on from the bank that would protect me or help the whole process, before I do a voluntary reposession?

Re: Voluntary Repossesion

There is really no such thing as a "voluntary" repossession. It stills goes on your credit as "repossession," and they still have the right to sue you for any money they can't recover, so, no, there is no documentation that can protect you. I suppose it would be wise to get a receipt for the car.
