Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I work with a local legal aid. We work primarily on grants and donations. We are attempting to collect a judgment from a bank in a foreclosure case that we have won. We have already received a "final judgment awarding defendants counsel attorneys fees".

My question is how do we proceed from this point on. Collections are not in most of the attorneys experience here. Any advice on getting them to cough up the dough. Might you suggest any books?

Thanks!

I concentrate in collection matters. My judgments always include an order that the debtor file a financial information sheet with the court. You can now send out interrogatories in aid of execution asking financial information or hold a deposition. Good luck.

Wow. This is a dream of a case. How about setting the deposition of the CEO of the bank to bring with him all of the documents listing the assets of the bank and then go garnish or execute on them! If you need co-counsel, contact me. I would love to do that deposition!
