Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

arested.. no charges?

this is kinda a legal question. about 3 years ago i was arested for having small amount of weed, a pipe, and one pill of ''E''. i spent 27 day in jail. this was in florida. went to curt twice wile in jail. one time when the told me what i was being held for and then like a week later to see if i could get relesed on O.R.. but they would not because i was a flight risk being that i was on vacation and from ca. never once talk to a lawyer or anything. after 27 days go by they just went to a video cour and the judge said i was free to go. no probation or anything. somthing about the state no filling charges are something. what happend?

I don't know Florida law, but I'll give you an educated guess. You probably had bail that was never posted, or you had "FTA's" (failure to appear) and were held without bail ("remanded"). It took the local District Attorney 27 days before he (or she) decided not to file charges, or you had very minor charges, and they credited you for time served. That is the best I can do with the facts as you present them.
