Re: Battery

Battery is a first degree misdemeanor in Florida. The maximum penalty is one year in jail and or one year of probation. I would be interested to know how long ago this happened? You may have several defenses, such as the statute of limitations, unavailability of witnesses, or a self defense.

I practice in Orange County and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you. Moreover, if you were interested in retaining my services I would be able to make it so that you would not need to appear unless we proceeded to trial.
