Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Not charged yet

I wrote/cashed a check payable to myself through my employers account without approval.I have authorization from my employer to sign checks as I was control of AP/AR. So all invoices that were paid I printed out the checks and signed my employers signature. I admit my wrong doing, and will offer to pay back what I received. I have not been issued a warrant yet. But I have not spoken to my boss yet either. He asked me if I did this and I said yes and gave the reason why (although no reason is good enough for stealing). He hung up the phone and I left my keys and left my job. Since then I've received text messages from acquaintances of his expressing thier disappointment and that now I will go to jail. I admit my wrong doing and have lived with this guilt all along. What is the worst case, do I have any options? I have never had a criminal history, no crimes ever committed. I have lived/worked in this area for 1 year. I know he won't speak with me, do I sit and wait? I am with my family now, but I want to resolve this or some kind of resolution. I am not sure how he is proceeding with this.

Re: Not charged yet

If he calls the police, you will be arrested and then you can take it from there.
