Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Conspiracy??

My friend got me into a business partnership. He drafted the whole business plan. He was gonna be the operations manager (no money in), and another guy the financial adviser that in case was gonna put some money in , and get loan for the rest of the business would need.

So, I ended up putting some money $30,000 in this guy bank account.

He was gonna be a partener too, and my friend was the one tha introduced this guy to us.

The entired thing took place in Miami.

This guy is from NJ. I nevet met him.

I found out that this guy is in probation in NJ.

I filed a complaint in Miami with a civil lawer, but so dar a got nothing, just spent money with the lawer.

Is there anything I can do on criminal law?

Thanks.

This might be considered fraud, but it is unlikely the state would pick the charge up. You could contact the police to let them know, but you have done the right thing in the meantime by getting a civil attorney to try and recover what you can. Be patient. Civil cases can take months or even years, so trust in your attorney to help you.
