Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Disclosing expunged record to employer

I was arrested for violating section

800.03 of the FL statutes. I

completed a deferred prosecution

program and am in the process of

getting my record expunged. As I

apply for jobs with various employers

including the school system and law

enforcement agencies, how much

information do I give them? Do I

have to acknowledge I have a

record? If so, do I have to disclose

the exact offense or just that I was

arrested for a misdemeanor?
