if I eat marijuana, can a police officer arrest me?

If you are in possession of marijuana (regardless of whether you are eating it, smoking it, or just holding it) a police officer can arrest you because possession of marijuana is a crime. If an office sees you with marijuana and you start eating it, the officer might also arrest you for tampering with evidence, a felony.

I agree with my colleague. You can be arrested for possession and or tampering with evidence (since if you ate it especially if after you were seen with it you were attempting to destroy the evidence)
