Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Florida

sex discrimination

I have worked at the same firm for 6 years prior to that i worked at another firm for 5. the firm has always promoted within. i applied for a branch officers positions and was denied. they hired a man from the outside who has worked 13 different places in 11 years. he has never been a branch office manager. thet told me to hang in there while they promoted other men before me. this financial place has over 100 office nationwide and only 3 female branch office managers.I resigned and has had my name mentioned in a conference call saying I was terminated for forgery. which is slander and a lie. another coworker informed me. I am sick over this.

Re: sex discrimination

Your case sounds promising! Keep your personnel papers from work, and keep names and data on all witnesses pro and con. Draft a chronology with names, dates, places, quotes events...Through counsel or on your own, you MUST PROMPTLY exhaust your admin. remedies with appropriate state and federal agencies. Choose atty also for the possible tort of defamation. YOu may also have a Title VII case based on "retaliation". Choose counsel ASAP before you forget important details and to consult on the statutes of limitations in these matters.!!! This sounds very similar to a case I did recently.
