Legal Question in Elder Law in Florida

Can a person who acts as power of attorney be paid for her services. I am power of attorney for my brother who is incapacitated and it is taking much more time than I anticipated. Can I be paid for my time?

It depends on what your POA states. Some do allow payment for services. The amount must be reasonable. Would have to review your document.
