Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I now have 50 50 physical and legal custody of my son. I pay 288 a month for child support from when I only had him every other Saturday and part of sunday. Since then his mother has gotten a job and makes more money I also have been promoted and make more money double what I used to make. If we put in an order to modify support will I end up paying more. I also have bought a new truck and have payment on it am buying a house and having a second child. when I have my first child i am buying him everuthing he needs which I by no means have a problem with he is my son. But I don't have the money to be giving his mother the support When she isnt buying him the things he needs. I owe back child support for the first year we were separated but will have that paid off in a few months.

Sooner or later you both will face this problem of child support. She can go back and make you pay more since your income has increased substantially. so be prepared.

Not sure I understand .

No way to say if either party will pay more in child support if a Petition to Modify is filed, it depends on the financial circumstances, usually based on the Financial Affidavits.

As far as Mom not using the CS money as you want, Florida law does not give the Father the ability to control the spending. There is no right for an accounting.

unlikely the support will change if you have another kid.
