can a 39 yr old child force a paternity test to prove who her father is? Father in Az and daughter in Fl.

It depends. Once a child attains the age of majority a court is reluctant to force such an issue unless there is substantial circumstances for wanting to know. Ex: If the father has tremendous financial assets that could be inherited by his natural born heirs, then a paternity suit may stand. It will depend on what the issue is. I suggest you contact the man you believe to be your father and see if you can resolve this with him. If he has other children, you can ask them to do a paternity to see if you are a sibling of theirs if one is willing to do so. could be easier and would answer your question.
