I was awarded a sum of monies from my ex employer, My ex employer threw his attorney called the state of connetticut to give heads up that I owed back payments of child support to the state . I do reside in Florida, Is it possible for them to take my lawsuit money? would 'nt they have to file a petition in order to do so? since it is another state with totaly different laws?
