my baby father wants me to leave the baby

I was with my baby's father for almost 2years i'm 16 and he's going to be 20 he is not legal in the usa and i wanted to stay clear with him in some things, but i didn't want to go to court. I don't need a passapot to take my baby to Puerto Rico i can take him with me when ever i want. can he put me charges for taking my baby? I told him that I could bring the baby every 6 months but he does't want to. but i'm the mother and the baby need to be with me!!! what should I do? (we aren't married)

Unless a court has said otherwise, you may legally take your baby to Puerto Rico to visit whenever you want. It doesn't sound like there have been any court orders yet regarding your child, but if there have, don't violate his visitation, and don't permanently move more than 50 miles without the father's permission or a court order.
